Update from the Town of Wallingford

Hartford Healthcare will be opening a Mega Clinic for vaccine administration at Oakdale Theater starting on March 1st .

Registration can be completed at this time and there are multiple ways in which an appointment can be made for this location.

HHC has provided a link for registration: https://hartfordhealthcare.org/healthwellness/covid-vaccine/schedule-your-vaccine#.

Also, a telephone call can be made to the Healthcare Access Center at 860-827-7690 or toll free at 833-949-5721 to register for the Oakdale Theater site.

The Town of Wallingford will continue to hold vaccine clinics and utilize the registration list developed based on the limited allocation (200 vaccines on average per week) from the State of Connecticut.

Connecticut’s vaccination program is ramping up, and vaccines are currently available to all residents 75 and over by appointment only. If you have family, friends or neighbors age 75+ that may not be adept at navigating over the internet, please reach out to help them!

There are 3 ways to get signed up:

    1. Vaccination appointments are available through the CT Vaccine Administration Access System, and links to find appointements are located on the the ct.gov site: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccination---75-and-older
    2. Go directly through UConn Health, Hartford Healthcare, Yale New Haven Health, and Walgreens.
    3. Call the CT COVID Vaccine Appointment Assist Line at  877-918-2224  Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They offer a call-back option when all contact specialists are busy serving other callers. The team will aim to return calls as soon as possible, with the goal of same-day response.
    4. DO NOT CALL DOCTOR’S OFFICES unless the doctor has reached out. They will not be able to assist in scheduling a vaccine shot at this time.

If we help each other, we will get through this together. Get involved with the Wallingford Democratic Town Committee by contacting volunteer@wlfddems.org or signing up for our e-mails here Join Us.
