DEMOCRAT REBECCA HYLAND RECEIVES CT DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE OF CT’S 90th DISTRICT - WALLINGFORD & MIDDLEFIELD

Wallingford, CT, May 11, 2022 - Rebecca Hyland received the Democratic endorsement and unanimous nomination for Connecticut’s 90th District State Representative seat serving Wallingford and Middlefield. The seat is currently held by Republican Representative Craig Fishbein.

“I am humbled by this show of confidence. There is so much at stake in local elections and every single vote counts. This seat was determined by 7 votes in 2020. Now more than ever, we need candidates who represent the interests of the people of Wallingford and Middlefield. I am beyond excited to represent the people, many of whom are plugged in and engaged in this process and their futures. I am listening. I’ve never been
more confident that people are ready to thrive together,” stated Hyland.

Hyland announced her candidacy on March 11, 2022. Hyland has successfully met her fundraising goals and has hit the ground running, meeting with citizens of Wallingford and Middlefield.

Hyland resides in Wallingford with her husband, Ben, their three-year-old son, Henry, their dog, Vada, and their two cats, Lucy and Desi.
